Twenty-five years ago, HumCap was founded with a mission that has driven us through the years: Deliver excellence to our clients and communities. Take care of people, and the rest follows.

That belief has never stopped. It’s why giving back has been part of HumCap since day one — and why, 25 years later, we’re turning our anniversary into a way to give back to our community instead of just a celebration.

Introducing $25K for 25 Years

HumCap has launched $25K for 25 Years — our goal to raise $25,000 for North Texas non-profits, in honor of 25 years serving this community.

The campaign runs alongside North Texas Giving Day, Communities Foundation of Texas’ region-wide giving event, on Thursday, September 17. But we’re not stopping there — the campaign stays open through the end of November, so there’s plenty of time to be part of it.

Here’s what makes every gift go further:

  • HumCap matches every employee donation, dollar for dollar.
  • HumCap is matching gifts to our three featured causes, up to $1,000 per organization.
  • Both matches run now through the end of November.

A quarter century of giving back

Giving back isn’t a new idea for us — it’s been a part of who HumCap is since the beginning. HumCap has helped pack 150,000 meals with the Communities Foundation of Texas and 9/11 Freedom Day, served 650+ families at the Storehouse of Collin County, contributed to countless scholarships for children of veterans and first gen students, matched employee charitable giving year after year, and more.

It’s not a marketing angle. It’s what we call a triple bottom line — the belief that a strong business builds a strong community, and a strong community builds a strong business.

Our featured non-profits for 2026

We didn’t pick these causes off a list. Each one ties back to who HumCap is.

Army Scholarship Foundation. HumCap is veteran-founded and veteran-operated — more than 20% of our team has served in the military. The Army Scholarship Foundation awards college scholarships to children of honorably discharged soldiers and spouses of active-duty soldiers. Supporting military families is supporting our own. Also celebrating 25 years of service this year, we’re proud to have grown alongside this organization over the years and been able to contribute to its amazing impact.

Tech Titans Foundation. Tech Titans Foundation connects North Texas students and educators to real STEM careers through engineering, technology, and design-thinking programs. As an HR and recruiting firm serving the North Texas tech industry, we see the talent pipeline every day — this is our way of helping to strengthen and build it.

Food For the Soul. Founded by the Sawler family, Food For the Soul delivers free, nutritious meals to families across 30 North Texas counties. Bob Sawler has been a client and a friend to HumCap for years, and their mission — making sure no child goes hungry — has always been an easy yes for us. As a family run business, helping to nourish families  in our community has been a consistent passion of HumCap’s.

Give to one cause, give to all three, or support any organization registered with North Texas Giving Day — however you give, you’re helping us reach $25,000 for 25 years, and HumCap would love to match your gift along the way.
